Any Mac with Apple silicon, or a Windows 11 PC, that meets the requirements below. What matters is memory, not the model.
Apple silicon
Memory: 16 GB minimum, 32 GB recommended. Free space: 200 GB minimum, 500 GB recommended, where the case is kept.
A Windows 11 PC
Memory: 16 GB minimum, 32 GB recommended. Free space: 200 GB minimum, 500 GB recommended, where the case is kept. An NVIDIA graphics card makes scanning faster but isn't needed.
The software itself takes about 2 GB. More memory reads and searches large record sets faster; the answers are the same either way. Below the recommended memory and free space, large record sets take longer to read in and search.
Four ways to set it up
- Set it up yourself, on a computer you have or one you buy.
- We set it up on your computer, at your office.
- The seller ships a new computer to us; we set it up and ship it on to you.
- The seller ships a new computer to us; we set it up and bring it to your office.
We help you choose if you’re buying. You buy it directly, and it’s yours. For setup by us, at your office or on a new machine shipped from the seller, contact us for a quote. For machines sent to us for setup, we accept only new machines shipped from the seller, never a computer already in use.
A license belongs to one computer at a time. Moving it to a dedicated computer later is free: tell us and we’ll transfer it.
